These Terms & Conditions concern Yoga retreats run by Yoga Harris Ltd.

1. These Terms & Conditions are available on our website (www.yogaharris.uk) and on request.

2. The Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England & Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English & Scottish courts.

3. Yoga Harris may change these Terms & Conditions, in which case the amended Terms & Conditions will be posted on our website and will apply from the date we post them. If these terms and conditions change any registrations or bookings that we have already accepted from you before the new Terms are posted will continue to be subject to the Terms & Conditions in force when your registration was accepted. Please check these Terms & Conditions on each occasion you use our website or make a booking.

4.1. By taking part in one of our retreats you accept responsibility for your own health and safety. Please ensure that you are fit and well enough to take part in yoga practice. If necessary you should obtain medical advice before undertaking any yoga practice. Before taking part in any of our Yoga sessions you must notify us of any circumstances affecting your mental or physical health which may be exacerbated by yoga practice. Yoga Harris accepts no liability for any injury caused by the failure to follow instructions from the teacher or due to non-disclosure of medical conditions, injury or physical impairment.

4.2. Yoga Harris Ltd processes personal and medical data in strict accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Your data will only be used for health and safety management during the retreat and will not be shared with third parties.

4.3. Yoga Harris advises you not to undertake any yoga activities without first seeking medical advice if you have any concerns over your mental or physical health condition.

4.4. Women over fourteen weeks pregnant are welcome to take part in our retreats, on the basis that they have some prior yoga experience and that they inform Yoga Harris in advance that they are pregnant. We regret that women who are less than twelve weeks pregnant and have no prior yoga experience are not allowed to take part in our retreats.

4.5. Yoga Harris reserves the right to refuse access to any person if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the mental or physical health of the individual concerned may be endangered by taking part in a Yoga session or any other activity during a retreat.

5.1. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking place. The remaining full balance must be paid at least 12 weeks before the start date of the retreat. If the full balance is not received by this date, Yoga Harris Ltd reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the participant and retain the deposit.

5.2. Once the 12-week balance deadline has passed, all paid amounts are strictly non-refundable. This non-refundable policy represents a genuine pre-estimate of the business’s financial loss, reflecting unrecoverable venue commitments, staffing costs, and the high improbability of re-marketing a remote destination retreat slot within this timeframe. At its absolute discretion, and without legal obligation, Yoga Harris Ltd may attempt to re-market the cancelled place. Only if a fully paying replacement participant is successfully secured and cleared, Yoga Harris Ltd may offer a partial refund (minus a £50.00 administration fee) or a credit note toward a future retreat.

5.3. In the event of Yoga Harris cancelling a retreat we will refund all outstanding deposits and payments you have paid. However, in these circumstances we cannot compensate you for airfare, travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred. Participants are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover external costs like flights, accommodation, or transit. If a participant chooses to travel without adequate insurance coverage, they do so entirely at their own financial risk, and Yoga Harris Ltd will not be held liable for any out-of-pocket expenses, travel disruptions, or losses incurred. If a course is cancelled after it has started but before it is completed the amount refunded will be proportional to the number of days or sessions remaining.

5.4. In the unlikely event that we must cancel or reschedule a retreat due to force majeure (including but not limited to; severe weather, strike, pandemic, natural disaster, or political upheaval) we cannot guarantee a refund. To cover these risks, it is a condition of booking that you hold valid travel insurance. If you choose not to purchase insurance, you explicitly accept full personal financial responsibility for any cancellation, rescheduling, or losses resulting from force majeure events.

6. Personal belongings are brought to Yoga Harris at your own risk and we do not accept liability for any loss or damage whatsoever to such items.

7. If you require clarification of any of these Terms & Conditions please contact us.
